Giving back to the community is one of our core values, and an important one. It is the cornerstone of why we do what we do. We like to think we are a philanthropic team who excels at selling real estate, and are passionate about making a positive impact in our community by donating our time, talent and funds to charities who care for our most fragile citizens. Ten percent (10%) of the commission received from a real estate transaction is donated back to the community in honor of our clients. In 2021, we purchased a 14′ moving truck for clients to use, as well as local nonprofits. Each month, we plan to have at least one “Stuff the Truck” event for a local charity. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page! We have Stuffed The Truck for the food bank, school supplies, diapers, farmworker supplies, pet supplies for area shelters, and toys. The Junior League of Raleigh even stuffed the truck at the Shopping Spree! We are always open for suggestions, too! Here are some of the charities we have supported. Pictured here In 2012, Cindy was inducted as the second woman President of the Rotary Club of Raleigh in its 97 year history. Pictured with her is her dad, Frank Poole, who was a 47-year member of the Rotary Club, and long-time Raleigh pediatrician. Also, her daughter, Alex Bumgardner, who majored in Social Work and received her Master in Social Work at NC State, her mom, Harriet Poole, instrumental in raising funds to open the NC Museum of Art, and husband, David Roberts. Her son, Dash, was off at school at the time.
Cindy received the Community Volunteer of the Year award in 2003 from the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors for her community involvement.
